- Graduated Kent State University (Cum Laude) with a B.A. in Telecommunications (Radio, Television, Broadcast Journalism) and a field of concentration in Film & Theatre.
- The original voice of Casey Jones in 2007's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Movie, he was eventually replaced by Chris Evans.
- Is a good friend of Jeff Nimoy.
- He was a Writer/Performer for sketch comedy show "Something/Anything" on KSU's TV-2 and a Radio Personality & DJ on WKSR while attending Kent State University.
- Ironically, both Quinton Flynn and Chris Evans have played Johnny Storm "The Human Torch" as well as Casey Jones of TMNT.
- Upon moving to California in 1988, he teamed up with Burt Reynolds & Bernie Casey on TV's "Win, Lose or Draw" with host Bert Convy. Flynn faced off against his opponent flanked by the talented Ruth Pointer of The Pointer Sisters and funny gal, Elaine Boozler. Burt Reynolds later named his son, Quinton.
- His college required internship led him to become a Music Video Host & Writer for "Good Rockin' Tonight" & "The Alternate Beat" Produced in Cleveland, Ohio & cablecast there, as well as New York & Australia. This show pre-dated MTV's 120 Minutes as the first Alternative Video Music Program, complete with artist interviews. (1986-1989).
- Did movie overdubbing and improv with Will Ferrell for a short time.
