Philip C. Winchester graduated from Belgrade High School in Belgrade, Montana in 1999. He is known for his roles in Ministry of Mayhem, The Patriot, The Hi-Line, LD 50 Lethal Dose, Thunderbirds, CSI: Miami, King Lear, Flyboys, In My Sleep, The Heart of the Earth, and Shaking Dream Land.
In 2008, he was cast as Robinson Crusoe in the NBC action series Crusoe.
In 2009, he was cast in Maneater, a Lifetime mini-series starring Sarah Chalke. He will also be seen as the lead in the upcoming thriller, In My Sleep, and the Syfy miniseries Alice. He also appeared in Solomon Kane as a former member of the title character's crew, turned freedom-fighter.

- Discovered in Montana when The Patriot was casting locally. Won a supporting role in the movie at age 14.
- Received 21 offers from agencies to represent him after performing the lead in "Master and Margarita" in London.
