BIOGRAPHY:

Born in Garland, Texas, Peyton Hayslip attended the Juilliard School in New York City. She has been acting professionally since the age of 16, and has received numerous nominations and commendations for her work as an actress, including the B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Actress. She has been lauded as one of the Top 40 Actors in Austin, Texas (Austin Chronicle). The American-Statesman praised her as an actress whose "... emotions slip across her face as swiftly and magically as moonlight on a mostly cloudy night... an actress with a limitless future...". Ms. Hayslip and her husband, Carl Anderson, are the founders of Thistlemouse Productions, which produces plays and productions especially for children and families. She is also the Associate Director of the State Theater School of Acting, and teaches acting to children, teenagers and adults.

• Peyton's scene with 'Sarah Michelle Gellar' (qv) is included in the Deleted Scenes Extras on _Return, The (2006)_ DVD.
• Peyton's daughter, 'Tiger Darrow' (qv) wrote, directed, and edited the short film Mp3. Tiger cast her mom as "The Diva", her sister, 'Kitty Stuart' (qv) as the lead role of "Katie", and 'Garry Peters' (qv) as "The Director". Mp3 was a family affair, with Tiger's grandparents sharing co-producing duties, and an uncle and aunt appearing as extras. The film won Best Youth Film at the 2007 Foursite Film Festival in Ogden, Utah.
