Was thinking of retiring from the film industry until 'Linda Blair' (qv) coaxed him into doing _Hell Night (1981)_ (qv) with her. He now credits that film as bringing him back and has been in the business ever since.
Majored in chiropractic medicine at Nassau Community College in New York before deciding to start a modeling and acting career.
Named one of the 10 sexiest guys in soaps by Playgirl.
Has a brother named Billy and a sister, Linda.
Actress 'Kimberly Beck' (qv) shared an apartment with him in the early '80s.
Got to meet his idol, 'James Stewart (I)' (qv), when he ran Stewart's relay marathon benefit in 1992.
