BIOGRAPHY:

Paul Ben-Victor has built a career entertaining audiences and impressing critics with his work in film, television and on stage. With roles on numerous HBO series and over 50 films, he has time and again delivered standout performances with his tremendous range of characters. For the past two decades, Ben-Victor has been an actor in demand.

On television, he has made a lasting impression with his quiet ruthlessness as the Greek henchman Spiros Vondas on the widely acclaimed series "The Wire." He received critical acclaim for his recurring portrayal of Warner Brothers studio chief Alan Grey on "Entourage," where he’ll be returning this season. Ben-Victor also starred as Special Agent Bobby Hobbes in the international hit series "The Invisible Man," a role that earned him a Best Supporting Actor Audience Award for Sci Fi. He received critical acclaim across the boards for his vivid portrayal of Moe Howard in the ABC bio-pic "The Three Stooges." Last season, Ben-Victor turned out another unique and powerful performance as Palaka on the David Milch HBO series "John From Cincinnati." Ben-Victor will soon be seen in the hit comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" as crazy Coach Thurman in an 8-episode arc.

On stage last year, Ben-Victor completed a successful run of "The Good Steno," a play he directed, starred in and co-authored with his playwright mother, Leah Kornfeld Friedman. He has returned to the stage, where he is currently starring in the new hit comedy "Sexy Laundry" at the Hayworth Theater in L.A., which opened to rave reviews. Upcoming features include "Randy and The Mob," a new comedy from Academy Award winning writer/director Ray McKinnon and "Anytown," a gripping drama from writer/director Dave Rodriguez.
