Nyima Funk was a cast member of Second City Detroit and Second City Chicago. Nyima co-wrote and performed in the Joseph Jefferson Award winning revues "Curious George Goes To War", and "Pants on Fire", along with Keegan-Michael Key and Director Joshua Funk.
Along with her brothers Raleigh and Renan Woods, Nyima Funk was a founding member of the Techno Detroit Techno Group "The Sound Odyssey". She was the lead singer: Annie Gravy.
Frequently uses her mother's name for improvisational scene characters. Her mother, Wendy Woods, is an Ann Arbor, Michigan, City Council member (2001-2007).
