Noureen DeWulf (born February 28, 1984) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in films like West Bank Story, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and The Back-up Plan. DeWulf was born in New York City to Ismaili Muslim parents, and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Noureen DeWulf, an American actress of Indian descent, is set to star in Charlie Sheen’s buzz-worthy new TV series “Anger Management,” premiering June 28, 2012 on FX.
DeWulf began her acting career in the Academy Award winning film, “West Bank Story.” She played the lead role of Fatima, a singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who falls in love with an Israeli soldier. She has been working in comedic television series and films ever since. From 2009 to 2011, she played recurring roles on NBC’s “Outsourced”, TNT’s “Hawthorne” and MTV’s “Hard Times of RJ Berger”, and was a series regular on Lifetime’s “Maneater”.
DeWulf has been seen in a number of box-office hits, including “Ocean’s Thirteen”, and “The Back-up Plan”. She’s starred opposite Matthew McConaughey as Melanie, the present ghost in “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past” and played opposite Jeremy Piven in “The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard” in 2009. Most recently, DeWulf starred in “The Taqwacores” which premiered at Sundance in 2010.
Personal life DeWulf married Buffalo Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller on September 3, 2011.
Even though she comes from a Muslim heritage, Noureen has stated that she follows no religion.
