BIOGRAPHY:

Nolan Gould began his career at the age of three doing commercials. Nolan's most recent films include leads in the features Ghoul (based on the novel by Brian Keene) and Space Buddies. Current television credits for Nolan include Eleventh Hour and the movie of the week, "Sweet Nothing in My Ear." He is also a star of the popular TV show Modern Family, in which he has won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best ensemble in a Comedy Series along with the rest of the show's cast.


Nolan has trained with Patrick Malone and Lisa Picotte for years, focusing on scene study, cold reading and improv. He especially enjoys improv, and keeps his skills honed by performing in a weekly live improv show. All his effort and training have culminated in a well-rounded, confident young actor who loves to tell stories and entertain. During 2009, Nolan appeared in commercials for The Hartford.


Nolan has an extensive vintage Hot Wheels collection, loves Lego and enjoys swimming and sports. He is in Scouts. He is an active Mensa member and loves to read unlike his character on Modern Family who is seen to be dim-witted and is called an idiot or stupid by his sister Alex.
