Gave birth to her son, Django El Tahir El Siddig, during the filming of the _"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993)_ (qv) episode "Let He Who Is Without Sin...". Not surprisingly, she did not appear in that episode.
Son, Django El Tahir El Siddig, born 16 September 1996, was named for 'Django Reinhardt' (qv), a jazz musician. DS9 co-star 'Alexander Siddig' (qv) is Django Siddig's father.
Went back to work on _"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993)_ (qv) two weeks after her son, Django, was born.
