At her parent's insistence, she moved to Hollywood in 1956 accompanied by two family friends.
Was a runner up in the 1952 Miss Maine beauty pagaent.
Became the subject of death threats while dating 'Joe DiMaggio (I)' (qv) in 1964. The FBI determined the threats came from a patient at the Agnew Mental Hospital in San Francisco who could not bear to see DiMaggio with anyone other than 'Marilyn Monroe' (qv), who died in 1962.
