BIOGRAPHY: Monica Ramone was born in Delaware and moved to Los Angeles in 1994. As an independent producer living in Los Angeles, with many years working in every angle of the entertainment industry from development and packaging to Film Studios and various Production Companies. It was while working at More/Medavoy that she gained her first experience in the art of packaging assisting the career molding of young, hot actors such as Tobey Maguire, Jenna Elfman and David Schwimmer, and having direct involvement with the creation of successful hit shows like "Dharma & Gregg" and "Just Shoot Me." At Paramount Pictures, Monica worked with the Sr. Vice President of Motion Picture Business Affairs, learning first hand contract negotiations with agents and managers for the services of Hollywood's A-List Talent such as Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster as well as top Producers, and Directors. She also was involved in negotiating acquisitions, co-financing and distribution deals for feature films. Monica moved on to work for Executive Producer Mark Burnett on Survivor I and II, helping to coordinate the production and publicity campaign of this #1 CBS reality series as well as working on Eco-Challenge for USA Networks. She assisted Mark in development of future television projects. Monica later worked as a Producer for National Geographic, Travel Channel/Discovery Networks and most recently for Endemol/UPN on the first Family Reality show shot in Fiji. She is Executive Producer of Synergy Productions and has several pilot and feature projects in development.
