With his plastic statuette spurring him on, Mik went on to act in several television series and films including Student Bodies and Inside the Osmonds. He also voiced many animated characters, from Quentin MacCloud in Highlander: The Animated Series, to Sunbeam the fairy in The Lion of OZ.
After graduating from McGill University with an Honours degree in Film and Cultural Studies, Mik turned his talents to screen writing.
