BIOGRAPHY: Mike Muscat was an Army brat who was born in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and lived on or near several Army bases growing up. His family settled in Gastonia, NC where he discovered acting in high school Drama. He fell in love with it and knew that he wanted to be an actor when he grew up. While he never grew up, he did pursue acting.
After several years of doing community theatre and even acting in a couple of low-budget movies filmed near Charlotte, NC, he joined the Army. His job title was "Entertainment Specialist". He worked at the Little Theatre in Ft. Rucker, Alabama and his duties included everything from building sets and lighting to acting in, directing and writing some of the skits and plays that were performed.
Then Mike moved to Hollywood. His first big break was on the stage. He was cast as a resident actor in the LA Shakespeare Festival which was an Equity company. He acted in five productions during the year he was with them. Later, he was a resident actor at The Universal Studios Tour in Hollywood where, for two years, he starred in "Castle Dracula", a stage show for visiting tourists.
Over the past three decades Mike has built a career in film and TV working on many top projects. He has also worked behind the cameras as an on-set Acting Coach on several films including, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". Many of these films are listed along with most of his acting work on his IMDb page.
In between acting jobs, Mike works as a professional magician and balloon artist at large events and private parties, coaches actors and has written many magazine articles (mostly about skydiving) and several scripts.
He is a father and grandfather. He has one son and two grandsons. Mike Jr. is an accomplished martial arts instructor for Ryan Hoover Extreme Karate in Gastonia, NC. Mike Sr. is known as "Pappy" to his grandsons, Gabriel and Silas.

- He is an accomplished magician who has performed at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He has also performed at the homes of such stars as 'Arnold Schwarzenegger' (qv), 'Chevy Chase' (qv) and 'Angelina Jolie' (qv).
- 'Edward Furlong' (qv)'s acting coach.
- Mike Muscat is a private pilot who has over 500 hours of flying time. He flies many types of small planes. He has over 100 hours of aerobatic flying. Many of those aerobatics hours were done in the skies between the Los Angeles Harbor and Catalina Island.
- Mike Muscat is a writer who has written several screenplays, plays, and comedy skits. He has written over twenty full length articles for the two primary skydiving magazines, "Parachutist" and "Skydiving".
- Is good long time friends and personal acting coach to Joey Fiero from the hit TV reality show "Life As A Struggling Actor". He is also a recurring guest star on the show.
- He is an active scuba diver with hundreds of dives all over the world. He has done many dives on shipwrecks, a World War II airplane and several submerged cars and trucks. He has done numerous dives off the many islands off of Southern California. His most memorable dives were into the "Blue Hole" and other sites off of Belize, Cental America.
