Attended Fordham University, same as actor Denzel Washington.
Attended NYU's graduate acting program before leaving to pursue her career in Los Angeles.
Whilst inactive from "One Tree Hill" (2003) due to the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike she worked the desk at the gym in the E! Entertainment building in Los Angeles, California.
Graduated from Toll Gate High School, Warwick, Rhode Island, Class of 2001.
Studied Shakespeare at London's famed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) January-May 2004.
Daughter of Jim and Patricia McManus of Warwick, Rhode Island. Her aunt Sister Mary McManus is a Nun.
