BIOGRAPHY: Meredith Leigh Monroe was born in Houston, Texas and was raised in Hinsdale, Illinois. Before acting, Meredith appeared on packaging for such products like a Conair hair crimper and was on five book covers in the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys series. She made her TV debut in 1996 with a commercial for Tylenol Sinus and later had her first role on ABC's now-canceled TV show "Dangerous Minds." Meredith Monroe plays Andie McPhee on the WB's phenomenally popular show "Dawson's Creek" and appears in the movie "Fallen Arches."

- Beat out 'Dominique Swain' (qv) and 'Jacinda Barrett' (qv) for the role of Amy Lear in "Full Ride"
- Is an Alpha Chi Omega sister.
- Filmed three scenes reprising her role as Andie McPhee, for the two hour series finale of Dawson's Creek (Episodes 623 and 624), but her scenes were cut due to time restraints.
- Sister-in-law of 'Andrew Kavovit' (qv)
- Her character on "Dawson's Creek," Andie McPhee, left for Italy in Season Four (Episode 407) in November 2000. But her name remained in the opening credits for the remainder of the season even though she no longer appeared. But her character of Andie returned in May 2001 for the graduation episode (Episode 422) which was her last appearance in the series until the series final two years later.
- Was replaced by 'Kiele Sanchez' (qv) in the role of Susan Kelly before the series "Married to the Kellys" (formerly "Back to Kansas") first aired.
- Meredith's deleted scenes from the series finale of 'Dawson's Creek' (Episode 623 - "All Good Things ..." and Episode 624 - "...Must Come To An End") are included on the 2003 DVD release which features the Director's extended cut.
