Wells had recently filmed had been picked up by ABC for a six-episode run and the shooting schedules would have conflicted). Melora never shot a single frame of the movie, however; she was let go when 'Eric Stoltz' (qv) was replaced by 'Michael J. - In the new movie that she directed called _You (2009)_ (qv), her real-life daughter 'Rory Jackson (II)' (qv) played her daughter, "Quincy," which is the middle name of her youngest daughter, 'Piper Quincey Jackson' (qv), and also the name of a TV show, _"Quincy M.E." (1976)_ (qv) that she acted in a long time ago. Recently, Melora acted in _"Gilmore Girls" (2000)_ (qv) and one of the main characters has the same name as her daughter, Rory.
