- (July 23, 2009) Celebrated his 37th birthday at the Le Baron nightclub in Paris, France with a few of his G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra co-stars.
- Son of Howell and Elvira Wayans. Brother of 'Dwayne Wayans' (qv), 'Keenen Ivory Wayans' (qv), 'Damon Wayans' (qv), 'Kim Wayans' (qv), 'Nadia Wayans' (qv), and 'Shawn Wayans' (qv). Also has sisters Elvira, Diedre, and Vonnie.
- Has been good friends with Omar Epps since their childhood.
- Marlon was originally slated to play Robin/Dick Grayson in "Batman Forever" when Tim Burton was considering directing it, but once Joel Schumacher ultimately took the helm, his vision for the character did not jive with placing Marlon in the role and he instead cast Chris O'Donnell.
