Marisol Nichols' distinguished credits demonstrate her versatility both in film and television. She has quickly become one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood, working with some of the most prominent actors and directors in the business. The recipient of a Golden Eagle Award for Most promising Actor or Actress, Nichols also earned an ALMA nomination for Outstanding Actress for her starring role in The Princess & the Marine (2001) (TV).
On the small screen, Nichols can be seen starring in ABC's innovative new legal drama "In Justice" (2006). Nichols has been receiving critical acclaim for her role as a passionate lawyer, Sonya Quintano, who is fighting for the wrongly accused. "Nichols brings spirit and even a [dash] of sizzle to the proceedings, and easily manages to be the most magnetic presence around."-The Washington Post. The show also stars Kyle MacLachlan.
Nichols other television credits include her role as the female lead in Stephen Bochco's cop drama, "Blind Justice" (2005), for ABC. Nichols received critical acclaim for her role as Ron Eldard's hardened partner, Karen Bettancourt. She also played Victoria Santiago on Showtime's critically acclaimed series "Resurrection Blvd." (2000) as well as numerous guest appearance on hit series including "Friends" (1994), "Alias" (2001), "Nip/Tuck" (2003), "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (2000), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999), "ER" (1994) and "Cold Case" (2003). She has appeared in three television movies including NBC's Homeland Security (2004) (TV), The Princess & the Barrio Boy (2000) (TV) for Showtime and The Princess & the Marine (2001) (TV) in which Nichols portrayed Princess Meriam Al-Kalifa, who fled her own country for love.
Her film credits include portraying Audrey Griswold opposite Chevy Chase in Vegas Vacation (1997), Bowfinger (1999), Disney's Mafia, Can't Hardly Wait (1998) and Scream 2 (1997).
