BIOGRAPHY:

Marie Michel was born in Los Angeles, California where she lived and did modeling jobs as a small child until she moved to Simi Valley, CA when she was in middle school. It was then she became interested in acting. Aside from modeling, Marie booked small roles during this time between middle school and high school in shows such as "Almost Home" (1993) and "Scratch & Burn" (2002) along with many childhood commercials such as "Trix Yogurt" and "Barbie Porsche". Marie was her high school's yearbook editor for 3 years until she graduated from Simi Valley High School. She was crowned Prom Queen her Senior Year and won cutest couple that same year. Soon after graduating high school, Marie stayed busy with college, auditioning and working for the 32nd and 33rd NAACP image awards as a music coordinator. At Moorpark community college she majored in Journalism. After a year at Moorpark, Marie transferred to Citrus Community College, where she then filmed the feature film The Human Stain (2003). After 2 years at community college, Marie transferred to California State University Fullerton, where she graduated in 2 years with a B.A. in Entertainment Studies and a minor in Human Communications. After college Marie took a little break from acting and decided to use her degree. She worked for The Walt Disney Company as a secretary, quickly moving up as coordinator, getting credit on movies like The Emperor's New Groove 2: Kronk's New Groove (2005) (V), and most recently Enchanted (2007). During her time of school and professional life, Marie never fully gave up her acting. She continued auditioning, taking acting classes, modeling and booking small roles in commercials and television. She also is the face of TGIFridays restaurant. She's on the cover of all menus and gift cards nationwide. Her latest project is filming the new My Network TV comedy, "Under One Roof" (2008).
