BIOGRAPHY:

Maria Doyle Kennedy (born Maria Josephine Doyle on September 25, 1964 in Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland) is an award-winning Irish actress and singer.

In 1988, she married musician Kieran Kennedy, with whom she has four children: Louis, Jesse James, Daniel and Salvador.

Kennedy speaks fluent Gaelic, French and Spanish.

She and her husband Kieran Kennedy have four sons: Louis, Jesse James, Daniel and Salvador.
Also a member of the Black Velvet Band.
Released her debut solo album, "Charm", on September 21, 2001 on Mermaid Records, her own independent record label. The album includes the musical accompaniment of a few of her co-stars from The Commitments, including Robert Arkins and Felim Gormley.
