BIOGRAPHY: Luc Robitaille is a professional hockey player, who at the time "Sudden Death" was filmed, was playing with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Since then, he was traded to the New York Rangers on August 31, 1996. He has accomplished 50-goal season three times i n his 10 NHL seasons. Robitaille set the NHL record of of most goals and total points scored by a left wing in the NHL with 63 goales and 125 points in the 92-93 season. Robitaille has made the NHL All-Star team five times. In his rookie season of '86-87, Robitaille captured the Calder Trophy, which is awarded the NHL rookie of the year. Robitaille was originially drafted by the Los Angeles Kings, but traded to the Penguins following the '93-94 season, and is, as mentioned before, currently with the Range rs.
