BIOGRAPHY:

Father: Russell C. Menzer, MGM commercial artist. Fraternal Twin Sister: Doree. Brother: Steven. Appeared in numerous filmed commercials during the late 1950s. Chosen for the "National Velvet" (1960) TV series from over 900 girls in an MGM USA/England/Canada audition. Began acting at age 7. Conducted most of her own auditions and interviews.

TRIVIA:

Abandoned her career in her late teens. Later worked for a firm that sold medical supplies.
Best remembered in film as the nubile daughter of 'Gregory Peck' (qv) and 'Polly Bergen' (qv) who is terrorized by murderous stalker 'Robert Mitchum' (qv) in the classic film _Cape Fear (1962)_ (qv).
