Daughter Emily Alexandra Eichhorn-Nye born 24 September 1981.
At one point was in the running for the role of "Diane" in _"Cheers" (1982)_ (qv). The part was eventually played by 'Shelley Long' (qv).
Studied acting at RADA in Britain.
(1979) Listed as one of twelve "Promising New Actors of 1979" in John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 31.
Originally cast, as "Cheryl", in the film _All Night Long (1981)_ (qv), she was later replaced by 'Barbra Streisand' (qv) during the filming.
