BIOGRAPHY:

Born and raised in Alberta, Kelly's family are originally from Bellevue, Iowa. A self confessed Civil War buff, Kelly makes frequent trips to battle sites across the States.


TRIVIA:

• Attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Film School from 1994-1996.
• Studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studio in Greenwich Village, New York City.
• Studies Arabic language.
• Attended Norman Jewison's prestigious Canadian Film Centre's Directors Lab in 2006.
• Is of Irish heritage.
• Briefly worked as a roughneck on an oil rig in Alberta.
