His father was a well known pianist in Southern California until his death in 1999.
His mother was a probate estate specialist, whilst his father was a pianist who was one of Southern California's popular piano men until his death in 1999.
A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Ferguson worked behind the scenes in television before becoming a voice actor, mostly on video games. Most recently, he provided the voice of "Friend Owl" in the 'Walt Disney' (qv) direct-to-video sequel _Bambi II (2006)_ (qv).
