BIOGRAPHY:

Katie Barberi began her professional career at age ten. After having sustained a successful career as a teenaged actress in Hollywood, she then embarked on a second career: acting in Latin-American "telenovelas." It is a little known fact that Latin "soaps" are actually aired in over 40 countries as prime-time series. This afforded Katie the opportunity to become a very well known prime-time actress in the Latin market. She is 100% bilingual (English and Spanish) and is very grateful to have the benefits of being a part of two different cultures. Having just completed the telenovela "Inocente de ti" (2004) for Televisa/Univision (shot entirely on location in Miami), Katie resides in Los Angeles, and is in preproduction on an as yet untitled romantic comedy for Koncept Films. "Inocente De Ti" airs nightly on Univision at 7:00 pm (as of April, 2005).
