BIOGRAPHY: JR Garcia was born and raised in a town just outside of San Luis Obispo called, Arroyo Grande. JR lives with his mother Susan, father Fernando, and sister Ashliegh. JR has three dogs, a Dalmatian, Sassy, and two chihuahua's named Curfew, and Nala. At the age of 5, JR modeled for Levi's Jean Company, filming a commercial as the lead. JR started doing productions and talent shows in his small town, starting dance at the age of 12 and becoming part of his high school's Dance Company his sophomore year. By his freshman year in high school, JR started attending classes in Beverly Hills at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center. At the age of 17, JR filmed his second commercial, this time for Polo Sport Aftershave. While searching for a lead in a feature film, JR attends California State University, Northridge where he is studying Film/Television Production, photography, and American Sign Language.
JR graduated Arroyo Grande High School in 2006. He has many hobbies such as film-making, singing, dancing, and sports. His favorite sports are soccer, volleyball, swimming, and after living by the beach all of his life, JR took up surfing the summer following his 8th grade year. JR also loves to knee-board, wake-board, ski, snowboard, ride around on his wave-runners, and water-tube. Though not too fond of the dark, JR loves the nightlife so you will often catch him clubbing in Hollywood with his close friends.
