TRIVIA:
- Built his home around a pipe organ. Prior to becoming a well known old time radio actor, he had a career as a theatrical and OTR pipe organist. Famous for portraying Professor Moriarty to 'Basil Rathbone' (qv)'s Sherlock Holmes in Old Time Radio. Best known as TV's original Mr. Wilson in the first _"Dennis the Menace" (1959)_ (qv) TV Series (upon his untimely death, he was replaced by 'Gale Gordon' (qv), who played a relative of Mr. Wilson who moved next door to Dennis, and was similarly driven up the wall by him).
