BIOGRAPHY:

Miss Payton left "Family Matters" (1989) in the middle of the ninth season to pursue other artistic endeavors. Her first performance on stage was at the tender age of six years old. She is also an accomplished singer and received her first major professional acting roles, through musical auditions. She was made for the stage live or otherwise, it shows.

TRIVIA:

Decided to leave _"Family Matters" (1989)_ (qv) midway through the ninth season due to creative differences with the show's producers. Despite her departure, she did have a small cameo in the final episode.
