Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Won 4 championships with 3 different teams (2 with the Detroit Pistons, one with the Chicago Bulls, and one with the Los Angeles Lakers), in 3 different decades (with Detroit in 1989, with Detroit in 1990 and with Chicago in 1996, and with Los Angeles in 2000), and finally in 2 different millenniums (Detroit and Chicago in the 1900s and Los Angeles in the 2000s.).
He, along with 'Robert Horry (I)' (qv), are the only two players in NBA history to win championships with three different teams.
11th overall draft pick by Detroit Pistons in 1986 NBA draft.
Played college basketball for Georgia Tech. He was named to the All-American team in 1986.
