BIOGRAPHY:

Jackson was born in Baton Rouge on June 1st 1950. He attended the University of Texas during which he worked on oil rigs in Texas and Louisiana, dug ditches, and worked in construction to help pay his way through college.

Instead of serving in the military after college, Jackson became a high school social studies teacher.

He began his acting career in his late twenties at the community theatre.

He has a wife, Jana, and son, Conor.

  • Has played a JAG officer in two different works, "A Few Good Men" and "J.A.G"
  • Son Conor Jackson is currently the everyday First Baseman for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
  • His son, Conor Jackson, is a First Baseman in the Arizona Diamondbacks minor league organization. Conor made his Major League debut July 28, 2005 with the Diamondbacks against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
