Is one of only three actors to have starred in all incarnations of the modern Star Trek TV series, namely TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise, albeit in a variety of different roles.
A successful performance artist known as one of the infamous 'NEA Four'; along with Karen Finley, Tim Miller and Holly Hughes; whose lawsuit against the National Endowment of the Arts achieved notoriety in the early 90's.
The last eight series on which he has made guest appearances were all cancelled: _"Enterprise" (2001)_ (qv), _"Joan of Arcadia" (2003)_ (qv), _"She Spies" (2002)_ (qv), _"The District" (2000)_ (qv), _"The Fugitive" (2000)_ (qv), _"The Fighting Fitzgeralds" (2001)_ (qv), _"Just Shoot Me!"
