BIOGRAPHY:

Major league baseball player, 1939-52; military service 1942-45; played second base and shortstop for the St. Louis Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates; lifetime batting average .249

TRIVIA:

Beradino was also a baseball player for the Cleveland Indians team that won the 1948 World Series. He retired from baseball and returned to acting after injuring his leg in 1953.
Made major league baseball debut on 22 April 1939.
