BIOGRAPHY:

John-Paul grew up in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He was a percussion major, but wanted to pursue modeling and dropped out. He also was into magic tricks during college and had thoughts on becoming the next David Copperfield. Aside from 'One Life to Live', J-PL starred in a Christian movie called "One Day in May". He was also recently in an off-Broadway play called "Counterfeit Garden", where he played a young actor who got to work on a soap with an actor he idolized, only to find out he was nothing like he thought. Ironically, 3 months later he landed the role of Rex Blasom on "One Life to Live".

He recently starred in another off-Broadway play called "Discordant Duets", which ran from August 15-19, 2002. He played a man who cannot commit to a relationship, and explores the strugles that he goes through.
