- Collects John Wayne and Mickey Mantle memorabilia.
- Graduate of Northfield, Mt. Hermon.
- Is also good friends with the Undertaker, Mick Foley, Al Snow, Jerry Lawler and probably more.
- Suffers from Bells Palsy, a condition that is responsible for paralyzing half his face. He has had it since January 25, 1995.
- The first Wrestlemania he appeared as play-by-play commentator for was _WrestleMania IX (1993) (V)_ (qv) in 1993.
- Almost walked out on his current job as play-by-play announcer with the WWE after they asked him to become J.R. and wear a cowboy hat.
