Former childhood figure skater.
Expecting her first child due 7 July 2007.
Her longtime diet included "Proteins, proteins, proteins!" and limited carbohydrates. (Her diet changed when she became a mother.).
Was adopted and has a birth sister.
Has at least 9 rescued animals, including several dogs and a rabbit. Her dog, Teddy, frequently appears on the air on _"Good Day L.A." (1993)_ (qv) and is considered by Jillian to be the head of the pecking order of her animals.
At age 40, she gave birth to her first child. Daughter, Ruby Raven, arrived on July 6, 2007 (one day before her due date), weighing in at 6 lbs, 12 oz, 19 inches. Jillian previously said they were deciding between three 'R' names for their daughter and they used two out of the three.
