- Achieved fame when she won $100,000 in the 1986 _"Star Search" (1983)_ (qv). Her one-woman show, "Girl's Night Out", became more than a hit -- it was group therapy for her women audiences, the same ones now tuning in for more from her afternoon talk show _"Jenny Jones" (1991)_ (qv).
