BIOGRAPHY:

Jay Mohr, born in Verona, New Jersey, USA, wanted to be a comedian all of his life. He performed stand-up comedy at colleges, comedy clubs, and such television forums as "An Evening at the Improv" (1982) and "Two Drink Minimum" (1994). He first gained national attention while a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (1975), where he became known for his impersonations of such people as Sean Penn (I) and Christopher Walken.


TRIVIA:
  • Is the youngest of five siblings.
  • He is a frequent guest on the New York City drive-time radio show "Opie & Anthony," where he adds his own commentary on the bizarre in-studio happenings and, of course, throws in the occasional 'Christopher Walken' (qv) impersonation.
  • Has a tattoo on the inside of his bicep that is dated and contains the word "will," in respect of his cousin Will, who was killed by a drunk driver.
  • Suffers from stage fright
  • Has a son together with ex-wife 'Nicole Chamberlain' (qv).
  • Did a killer impersonation of 'Christopher Walken' (qv) in a skit titled "'Christopher Walken' (qv)'s Psychic Hotline" on _"Saturday Night Live" (1975)_ (qv).
