BIOGRAPHY:

Jay Mohr, born in Verona, New Jersey, USA, wanted to be a comedian all of his life. He performed stand-up comedy at colleges, comedy clubs, and such television forums as "An Evening at the Improv" (1982) and "Two Drink Minimum" (1994). He first gained national attention while a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" (1975), where he became known for his impersonations of such people as Sean Penn (I) and Christopher Walken.

Suffers from stage fright
(August 2001) Jay Mohr is a frequent contributor to "The Jungle," a radio show hosted by 'Jim Rome' (qv). Jay's razor-sharp takes and opinions have earned him the nickname Slam Man on the show.
His ex-wife, 'Nicole Chamberlain' (qv), is a former model who wrote a one-woman show called "Next!" about her experiences, particularly dealing with the audition process.
Did a killer impersonation of 'Christopher Walken' (qv) in a skit titled "'Christopher Walken' (qv)'s Psychic Hotline" on _"Saturday Night Live" (1975)_ (qv).
