BIOGRAPHY:

Jamie Kaler is best known as Mike Callahan on the critically acclaimed TBS show, "My Boys". He will be headlining comedy clubs and theatres nationwide this summer in support of the show’s fourth season.

An accomplished actor, writer, and stand-up comic, Jamie still can’t believe he actually gets paid to make people laugh. Originally from the comedy hotbed of New Hampshire his only dream was to live somewhere warm. A childhood trip to Universal Studios and an autograph from his hero “Frankenstein” would help him realize that there were lands out there where you didn’t have to shovel snow. Using that, and the opening montage of “Three’s Company” as his inspiration to head west, he would get there by any means necessary. Not thinking acting could be an actual profession, he chose the next best path to the west coast…Naval Officer. He received a four year NROTC scholarship for college and decided to use it at the most expensive school he could get into. After majoring in Co-Ed Dorms and Darts at Boston University he was ready for anything.

With his commission from the US Navy in hand, Jamie set off on his first “World Tour” in ports like Hong Kong, Perth, and Bangkok. Realizing he enjoyed “Kelly McGillis” and a “need for speed” a little bit more than actually being in the Navy, he resigned his commission as a Lieutenant and decided to try acting. He hasn’t looked back.

As a Stand-Up, Jamie was one of the New Faces at the Montreal Comedy Festival and has appeared at both the Las Vegas and Chicago Comedy Festivals. You may have seen his act on the Late, Late Show, Live at Gotham, Chelsea Lately. or even hosting the Red Carpet at the SAG Awards.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his fiancée and their dog Max.
