• Studied drama at the University of Washington following his Army discharge.
• Although his acting career dates back to the early 60's with hundreds of appearances, he is probably best known for playing Mr. Powell on the 80s sitcom _"Charles in Charge" (1984)_ (qv).
• Married to 'Peggy Cannon' (qv).
• Diagnosed with esophageal cancer in February of 2007. Died six months later.
• As of May, 2008, is still featured in The Scooter Store commercials.
• Served in the U.S. Army in West Germany during the early 1950s.
