BIOGRAPHY: Ian grew up in the sun washed fields of Iowa, as far away from Hollywood as you could get. He occupied his time by shooting short films with his friends when he was a child. At the tender age of fifteen, he started his own production company - writing, directing, producing, shooting, editing and self-distributing his own series of action sports films. He sold his company after high school and moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. After a year stint, he relocated to the entertainment capitol of the world- Hollywood, to continue his career. Ian has appeared in several feature films, commercials, television pilots and sitcoms. He has since turned his focus back to the craft of writing and directing with numerous films and television projects in various stages of development and production.

- Grew up near a town of less then 300 people.
- Has a brother in the armed forces that is being deployed to Iraq, and another brother that plays lead guitar in a rock band.
- Majored in Film Production at a college in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- Ian grew up in the same part of Iowa as Ashton Kutcher, Elijah Wood, Ron Livingston, Eric Christian Olsen and Riley Smith.
- Ian enjoys writing music, painting and designing clothing.
