BIOGRAPHY:

Graduated from Tenafly High School, Tenafly, New Jersey where she began her acting career.

TRIVIA:

Mother is a retired school librarian.
Graduate of Vassar College (1986).
First Daughter, Georgia, was born August 31, 2002; her second daughter, Mae, was born December 30, 2004.
Auditioned for _"Baywatch" (1989)_ (qv).
Studied ballet as a teenager and participated in the Joffrey Ballet's summer programs. She began her stage career in earnest in Chicago, where she took over 'Madonna' (qv)'s role in the Chicago production of 'Speed the Plow', to great acclaim. She still does more stage work than film work, and she lives in New York.
Played Anton Yelchin's mother in two movies: Hearts in Atlantis (2001) and Charlie Bartlett (2008).
Childhood friend of 'Mira Sorvino' (qv); they performed plays for the neighbors.
