BIOGRAPHY:

Gabe Kaplan is best known for portraying teacher Gabe Kotter in the 1970s sitcom "Welcome Back Kotter", which ran for four years on ABC. More recently, he can be seen on television as a professional poker player and commentator. He made many appearances doing stand up comedy on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson.
