BIOGRAPHY:

His mother is a homemaker and his step-father works in a technological laboratory. He is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts. After graduation, he spent seven years touring in regional theatre. French, by the way, is his real name. It's a family name that's been used for generations. He's French number four.


TRIVIA:

• Is the official Clamato (a clam drink) spokesman.
• French earned his Screen Actors Guild card for playing Yogi Bear with Hannah Barbera's Shakey Quakey Tour. It was a short lived career move though, as he was fired for pulling off his bear head in front of the children. French has a "huge collection" of silent films.
• Attended West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M University) in Canyon, Texas for two semesters in 1982-83.
