Attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in the mid-1940s.
Was one of the first women admitted to the previously all-male Players Club. Later she was the first women to serve on the club's board of directors.
Her second husband, Walter Wallace, had served as the Assistant Secretary of Labor during the Eisenhower administration.
