- #1 overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft out of the University of Mississippi, where he holds 45 single-game, season and career records.
- Got his first name, Elisha, from his father's middle name.
- Starting quarterback for the New York Giants.
- Son of 'Archie Manning' (qv) and brother of 'Peyton Manning' (qv).
- Married college sweetheart Abby McGrew during a sunset ceremony at the One & Only Palmilla resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. (19 April 2008).
- In 2008, he led The New York Giants to the Super Bowl XLII victory over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. He was named MVP.
