BIOGRAPHY:

Eddie Jemison is an American film and television actor.

Jemison was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was seen in the hit comedy Bruce Almighty, with Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston. Previously, he was featured as one of the larcenous 11 in Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Eleven, and reprised his role as nervous techie Livingston Dell in the follow-up features, Ocean's Twelve and Thirteen. Jemison previously worked with Soderbergh on the director's 1996 thriller Schizopolis. His other feature credits include The Relic, Junk, One Way Glass, March in the Windy City and Pizza Wars.

Jemison is a star of the HBO comedy series Hung. He also guest starred on numerous television series, among them NCIS, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Guardian, The Closer, Six Feet Under, Citizen Baines, The Untouchables, and Early Edition. He has also made multiple appearances on Late Night with David Letterman, and starred in television pilots for NBC and ABC.

Jemison is a veteran of the Chicago theatre scene. His stage credits include The Wizards of Quiz at the National Jewish Theatre; Only Kidding at the Wisdom Bridge Theatre; Loot at Tulane Repertory; A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre; Talking to Myself and Holiday Memories at the Northlight Theatre; and T Bone N Weasel at Victory Gardens. Jemison also performed in The Two Gentlemen of Verona and As You Like It at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.


TRIVIA:
  • In 1993, he created a nationwide buzz in the popular "Yes, I am" Bud Light ad, talking his way into a free limo ride. He later appeared in a spoof of the same ad which appeared alongside the NCAA tournament: he boards a limo intended for Duke coach 'Mike Krzyzewski' (qv). Another ad featured him talking his way into the "Lee family reunion," which turned out to be a Chinese family.

  • Played guitar and sang in pop rock band Love Kit.
  • He was nominated for a 1993 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Principal Role in a Play for "The Wizards of Quiz" at the National Jewish Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Eddie's nephew is pictured on the back cover of the Love Kit CD album. He is wearing an orange tee shirt with "Tigers" displayed. His name is Sean.
