- Auditioned six times for the role of "Annette" in _Saturday Night Fever (1977)_ (qv) - three times for original director 'John G. Avildsen' (qv) then, after he was fired, three more times for replacement director 'John Badham' (qv - before she got it.
- Studied at the American Academy of the Arts, where she lost her native Brooklyn accent and had to relearn it for her role in _Saturday Night Fever (1977)_ (qv).
- During the second season of _"Out of This World" (1987)_ (qv), actress Donna Pescow became pregnant. Since it couldn't be explained how her character became pregnant while her husband was away fighting a war, Pescow was filmed using only close-up shots or position so that something was hiding her pregnancy.
- She took drama classes with _Rocky (1976)_ (qv) co-star 'Carl Weathers' (qv).
- Did not gain weight for her role in _Saturday Night Fever (1977)_ (qv), however, she lost 15 lbs prior to the release.
- Didn't have a driver's license until she was 25.
- Her friend's father owned and ran a news stand downtown NYC at Battery Place. He had Donna's resume photo on display among others.
