Stepmother of 'Matthew Shire' (qv).
Was considered for the role of Olive Oyl in _Popeye (1980)_ (qv)
She wanted to read the role of Rizzo at her _Grease (1978)_ (qv) audition, but the producers decided that she was exactly right to play the part of Frenchy.
Mother of a son named Danny.
She once attended a school play of "Grease" at Nyack Middle School (in the play, "Danny" was played by _"Freaks and Geeks" (1999)_ (qv) star 'John Francis Daley' (qv)). Didi signed autographs for the cast, crew and audience.
