BIOGRAPHY: Actress Deena Freeman was born in Palo Alto, California, USA, the daughter of an industrial engineer father, and a housewife mother. Deena began acting in high school and after graduation, attended University of San Francisco. At university, Deena join Theater-Works, a repertory company which presented mime plays. Her first major speaking role was in a college production of the play, 'Vanities.' After finishing her undergraduate studies, Deena taught acting at University of California at Irwine, where she also continued her drama studies.
Deena's first professional acting assignment was in an episode of "Magnum, P.I." She followed that with a role on "The White Shadow." Her greatest claim to fame has been as a fast talking spokeswoman for the McDonald's hamburger chain. She appeared in the ABC Afternoon Special, in a drama called Please Don't Hit Me, Mom (1981) (TV). She also played the role of April Rush on the hit ABC series, "Too Close for Comfort" (1980).
